"Write daily (or at least three times/ week) entries over a three-week period. These posts should respond to the readings, explore connections, and allow you to develop your own positions. You may write about what happened in class and what you think about that as well as what went through your head while reading.
Form
The final product for this assignment should be a Blog, and a Works Cited list for all your sources. On Saturday, November 14, by 11:30 pm, you should have sent an email to Ms. Patton and a link to your blog (http://). I expect at least eight very complete (fully developed) blog postings that respond to you reading of the four plays, to the class discussion of the plays, to your part in performing the plays, and to what Marshall says.
Content
Try to write at least four posts about M. Butterfly. You may comment on all of the plays, on the quizzes, on the class discussion, or on any topic that arises in your mind because of your work in our class. Be sure to make use of the graphic, video, and linking possibilities of blogging.
Grading
75 points possible. 10 points for having at least four postings in rough form on Nov. 5 5 points for posting responses to three other people's blogs. 10 points for style, originality, and hard work. 30 points for direct responses to M. Butterfly-your reading of it as well as the class performances. 10 points for being very, very specific. 5 points for thorough discussion of one or more of the plays in the Reader. 5 points for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. To make this more enjoyable, pull in pictures, link to videos, or even make a Web Comic (using the Mac program "Comic Life" at www.plasq.com)
